The design is an elegant William Morris WILLOW pattern. Each fragrant drawer liner is then gently scented with a natural fragrance. Ideal for keeping your drawer and cupboards smelling fresh and colourful. Perfect for all drawers, cupboards and any shelf in need of some colour and freshening scent.
Drawer Liners come ROLLED and they can then be cut down to size or doubled up depending on your needs.
A Box contains 5 SCENTED SHEETS of the chosen fragrance. Largest size available on the market: 60 x 42cm (23.6" x 16.5") can be cut and folded to fit all drawers or doubled up. Perfect pattern repeat means drawer liner sheets can be overlaid for larger draws and shelves.
NON-ADHESIVE backing - if needed they can be fixed in place with tape or tack.
Our fragrances are MADE IN BRITAIN to the highest standards. Allergen free, they are formulations designed to last whilst imparting a gentle fragrance over time. PERFUME will be strong on opening but relax in the first few hours.We recommend you unpack and leave for an hour or so for the fragrance to soften.
Our LAVENDER & NEEM OIL fragrance is a unique formulation from THE MASTER HERBALIST, combining two natural moth repellents. Using certified pure Lavender Essential Oil, the result is a predominantly lavender scent with slight nutty and citrusy notes from the Neem Oil. Together it creates a much more pleasant fragrance than chemical moth balls.
SUMMER JASMINE is a classic combination of natural & synthetic ingredients, utilising process technology to create this beautiful, true to nature Jasmine scent. The heart of this fragrance brings tranquility and elegance, giving the 'green', floral scent of Jasmine petals. A complex and refined fragrance structure imparts a contemporary and natural Jasmine aroma.
NEROLI & BERGAMOT is a unique pairing that combines a fresh, clean citrus top note with a rich and delicate floral base. It consists of a blend of natural oils - Bergamot, Grapefruit and Orange - with a Neroli Bigarade blend of Petitgrain and Orange Flower. This contemporary fragrance is enhanced by the fresh addition of green Freesia accord to give a unique and sophisticated scent. Both Neroli & Bergamot are very popular in perfumery and this fragrance is a new classic.
FRESH LINEN is a very popular, gentle fragrance that is perfect for providing a warming background scent evocative of cleanliness. It has been created with a unique blend of natural essential oils and aromatic distillate encompassing a freshly cut grass effect. A blend of cyclamen, jasmine, menthol and orange notes combine to give this fragrance its Fresh Linen characteristics and the scent itself has these floral undertones but is not overpowering

Which countries can check out directly on the website?
UK (incl. Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man), USA, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Orders to USA, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain are shipped Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) — duties and shipping are calculated and prepaid at checkout, so there are no import hassles, and non-UK customers don't pay UK VAT, saving 20%.
Do you ship to other countries?
Orders outside the countries listed above can't be completed directly on the website yet, but we're happy to ship to you — just email helpdesk@themasterherbalist.co.uk for a shipping quote. A minimum order value of £50 applies and a mobile telephone number is required.
Is UK shipping free?
Free shipping applies to UK Mainland orders over £35.
Can I collect my order locally?
Unfortunately not — our office is on private land without the insurance and access arrangements needed to open to the public.
How quickly will my UK order arrive?
Orders are picked and dispatched between 9:00am and 12:30pm. Orders under 2kg are sent Royal Mail Second Class with tracking (3–5 working days); heavier orders go by courier for next-day delivery. Orders placed before 12:30pm on a weekday are dispatched the next morning; later orders the following day. Weekend and Friday-afternoon orders are dispatched on Monday.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Most UK orders are sent via Royal Mail — you can track your parcel directly on the Royal Mail website using your tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours after dispatch for tracking to update. If you can't find your tracking details or your order seems delayed, email helpdesk@themasterherbalist.co.uk and we'll help.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
If an item in your order is temporarily out of stock, we'll be in touch to offer you either a similar substitute straightaway, or to add you to our waitlist and notify you as soon as it's back — whichever you'd prefer.

Please contact us with your order number (e.g. TMH#1234) and the email used to purchase — photos help. We'll send the correct items promptly.
How do I return an item?
Complete our online returns form. Once approved, we'll email you a free Royal Mail Tracked Returns label for unopened, unused items returned from within the UK, with a free home collection or Post Office drop-off. (Note: this is our own Odoo-based returns form embedded on the website — not Shopify's native returns portal, which is disabled.)
What can I return?
Unopened, unused items in their original packaging, within 30 days of purchase. Sale items are eligible. We can't accept items that have been opened, used or damaged. Free tracked returns apply to UK returns only.
I don't like the smell — what can I do?
We understand buying fragrance online can be tricky. If the item is unopened and unused, request a refund or exchange via our returns form within 30 days.
Can I swap my item for something else?
Yes — request an exchange using the same returns form. Your new item is shipped once the original is returned.
How long do refunds take?
Once your return has been received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 30 days.
Our Fragrances
What's in our fragrances and how they perform.
What is in your fragrances?
Our fragrances are naturally derived but not 100% natural — they need some assistance to retain their scent, adhere to the paper and not discolour over time. They comply with the EU 7th Amendment on allergens.
How long does the scent last?
The scent is designed to last approximately 6–12 months under normal conditions, after which a residual (not strong) scent remains. Duration varies with the size of the space and personal sensitivity to smell.
Are the scented liners safe with clothes and linens?
Yes — the fragrances are designed to be gentle and won't stain or damage fabric.
Do your fragrances contain phthalates?
Our Sandalwood and Lily of the Valley fragrances contain trace amounts; the others do not.
Scented Drawer Liners
Sizing, fitting and caring for our scented drawer liners.
What size are your drawer liners?
Our drawer liners are 60cm x 42cm (23.6" x 16.5"). They can be doubled and overlaid for larger spaces.
Can the liners be trimmed to size?
Yes — they cut easily with scissors. Tip: lay them in the drawer upside down, crease the edges, then turn over for accurate fold lines.
Are your drawer liners adhesive or sticky-backed?
No, they are not adhesive — the scented liners are unsealed paper. (Wipe-clean liners have a gloss laminate on top but paper underneath.)
How do I fit the liners in my drawers?
Fold rather than cut for clean edges. The patterns repeat perfectly, so you can overlay sheets without visible seams.
Is the paper acid free?
Our printing is done on FSC-certified paper, but we have to assume some acidity is involved in the printing process. We've seen no yellowing issues despite age testing.
How do I fix down the liners?
Use sticky-tape loops, photo tabs, or our Sticky Dots product. We don't recommend Blu Tack, as its oils can seep into the paper.
Do you do a continuous roll?
No — continuous rolls aren't possible due to the weight of the paper and our manufacturing process.
Are your products recyclable?
Scented liners and packaging are recyclable. Wardrobe Freshener paper and hooks are recyclable, and the inner pouches can be discarded or scattered in the garden. Wipe-clean liners are not recyclable due to the laminate. Plastic sleeves are Category 5, recyclable in some areas only.

Are the Wipe Clean Drawer Liners scented?
No — these liners are unscented, making them suitable for people sensitive to fragrance.
Are they suitable for kitchen use?
Yes — they're ideal for kitchen drawers, cupboards and pan shelves thanks to their wipeable, water-resistant surface.
Can I use them in the fridge?
No — the paper base will absorb moisture over time, despite the laminated top.
Are they safe for use with food items?
The liners aren't intended for direct food contact, though the laminates are food-grade. They're designed for organising surfaces where containerised food is stored.
What is the laminate made from?
The laminate is a BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) plastic.

What is in your Wardrobe Fresheners?
They contain scented paper (the same stock as our drawer liners), a compostable vermiculite pouch inside, and cardboard hangers. All components are recyclable or compostable.
Can I get a free sample to smell?
We're sorry, but no — it's just not practical and shipping is very expensive now. However, if you order and it's not for you, unopened items can be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days (free UK tracked returns), so you can buy with confidence.

I bought these Lavender & Neem oil drawer liners to line the shelves of my newly built wardrobes. They delayed the build date so it was a couple of weeks before I could use them. They are made from really good quality paper making it hard for them to rip or tear and I absolutely love the scent of the of them, I chose this design to match the sage green colour of my wardrobes, also every time I open the doors the smell is there, waiting, and I'm sure the moths will hate it! The sandlewood drawer liners did not smell like sandlewood. They smelt nice and design was nice but scent wasn't as expected.

Store owner replied: Thanks for your review Emily. I understand your reservations about the Sandalwood fragrance. We want do use authentic sandalwood essential oils in our products, however due to the slow growth and historical over harvesting of Sandalwood, Sandalwood has now become a very restricted and highly expensive compound which has seen a huge drop in its use in perfumery, so the fragrances of old that we remember such as soap etc have had to change the formulations. We always offer free returns and exchanges to mitigate against any concerns about smells so we would happily change the ite,ms for you as we know it is tricky to shop for fragrance online. I suffer from severe insomnia & have been looking to ways that could help to relieve it. I had brought similar items from a well known high st shop, but was very disappointed with them, so I found you on an internet search, a little bit more expensive, but you specialise in these and related products so I purchased 2 packs of drawer liners. They are lovely, I have also put some in my airing cupboard. During school half-term, whilst my daughter was at work, my granddaughter spent the day with me and was impressed with "Grandpa's paper that smells of pretty Flowers".
